Can’t sleep. So writing my blog!

Counting sheep hasn’t helped one little bit. I’m knackered, I’ve been on the go all day yet I can not shut down even now. It’s 00:45 according to my phone and despite the unusual quietness at plas Gwyn halls of residence, (last night we had many a rendition of classic happy birthday, 50 cent it’s your birthday and my personal favourite, happy birthday too ya by Steve wonder till the early hours of the morning when I guess it was no longer the persons birthday!) my eyes are just not heavy. So thought I would blog-especially now I’ve downloaded the app on my phone! I am blogging about this terms project. In particular, what I achieved today! I discovered an artist named Kelly Allen who produces some amazing pieces of artwork. I decided to try out her style and am very pleased with the results. Posted acouple of pics of my favourite results……going to try to do something similar digitally in photoshop tomorrow (wish me luck!) Sleepy now at last. Nu night <3 xx

Well, we never thought it would happen……especially in Wales……but the sun is shining!! 
!!! So, it’s a quick bit of work and then off to bute park with a friend for sunbathing and a picnic!! yay!!!!
My Last Uni Project.

I thought i would share with you all my last terms uni project…….I know its a bit late but as previously stated……I AM RUBBISH AT BLOGGING!
The brief set was to create a final piece based around 3 of our own personal objects. They could be anything and didnt necessarily have to mean much to us. I chose a Louis Vuitton vintage make-up bag, a silver chest my sister brought back from India for me and some plastic diamond table decorations…….i know, i could of made them link together a bit easier!!
I researched various topis from metal embossing through to the glorious creation that is Damien Hursts diamond encrusted skull named “For The Love of God”.
In the end, i decided to encorporate the patterns of the chest within a basic diamond shape. I drew the pattern and transferred it to a screen. I then printed it using metallic pigments. The end results are below.
I took away a B for the project which i was very happy with if you could of seen the standard of some of my fellow course peers!!! VERY HIGH!

I have decided that i need to make some more money. I have discovered in the last 3 or 4 months that i am not the kind of girl cut out the live on a student budget…….GIVE ME ESTEE LAUDER OVER MAYBELINE ANYDAY!!!
So, seeing as i am doing a textile degree, i thought i better put it to good use!! I have started creating and making bunting, soft toys and quirky gifts 
and SHOCK, HORROR……I am really enjoying it!
I am never going to be the next Cath Kidston, but for a few extra pennies, and alot of enjoyment i am really pleased with how it has gone so far!! Keep buying as i want to keep making!!!! <3

I am so rubbish at blogging!! i think of things i want to blog and then forget to blog them!! Anyway, uni is tough this term……a group project! AHHHHHH Brings dread and fear into my heart. We have been commisioned to create a banner to go in the new cardiff school of management block. To be fair it is a good idea because that block is so dull. Quite a project for first years I know. The theme is kaleidoscope. As of yet, i have no idea where i am going with it and have started with childish attempts at dropping paint on paper…….deff not degree standard!! However. After research i have found an amazing fashion designer and artist called ChiChi Luo. The image below has inspired me and motivated me so i guess…….Onwards!!
